Round 2!!! Seabrook’s Elf Squad II enjoyed volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire located in Savannah. The Seabrook had two teams volunteering to make lunch for the 25 family members staying at the house.
This Seabrook Elf Squad prepared fragrant rosemary roasted chicken with butter roasted carrots.“It warms our hearts to give back to people. I’m just so happy to work for a company that believes it is important to serve others,” said Jennifer Perez, MDS Coordinator. The Seabrook Elf Squad team included Steven, Yahir, Camille, Lindsay, Eulonda and Ruby.
The Ronald McDonald House continues to provide hope, encouragement and comfort to children and their families through donations from corporations, organizations, individuals, foundations and the support of local McDonald’s owner/operators. As the 100th House built, the Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire are dedicated to providing a “Home Away from Home” for seriously ill or injured children and their families who are receiving treatment at local area hospitals.In October 1982, The Seabrook of Hilton Head opened as a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization. The visionary leadership and principles of stewardship has helped craft The Seabrook as a community devoted to philanthropy, faith, family and service to others.
